Spring Money Spell

When: after the first new moon in Spring has grown into a cresent.

Tools: a white altar, flowers, objects of abundance; gold, silver, jewels, jewellery, heirlooms, etc. Four green candles, one orange candle, something to enscribe candles with; an athame or knife, money attracting oil; almond, chamomile, cedarwood, honeysuckle, jasmine, orange, patchouly, pepperming, sage, etc. An appropriate incense for air; almond, citron, lavender, lemongrass, magoram, peppermint, sage, etc.

Ritual: think about the natural tides, the sap in the trees, everything that burst out to create our abundant world.

Decorate your white altar with living flowers and objects of abundance. The orange candle symbolizes you attracting the wealth that you desire. Write your name three times on this candle and place it in the centre of your altar. The green candles represent the greening of your income. Write the amount
of money you wish to receive on each candle three times. Don't be greedy, ask for what you feel you have permission from yourself to receive. Place these at each of the four directions. Anoint all the candles with money attracting oil.

Settle down for a short time in front of your altar. When you are ready, talk to Habondia. She is the Goddess of havingness. She is kind and mellow. Her eyes are dark and Her scent is that of flowers. Speak to her like a favourite sister who really cares for you.

Light the incense and smell the scent of Her essence. Light the orange candle and say "This orange candle represents me in all money matters." Light the green candle in the East and say "Sister, send me abundance from the East." Move the candle closer to the orange one. Do this with the candles in the South, West and North. Now you have abundance coming to you from all directions.

Let all the candles flicker and enjoy their light. You may wish to do something else in the room while they burn for a while. When you are ready, extinguish the flames. Don't blow them out. Do this for 1, 3, 5, 7 or 9 nights in a row. Uneven numbers are lucky, and the more often you repeat the spell, the deeeper the message goes into your subconscious. On the last night, let the candles burn down altogether and say aloud "It is done, blessed be."

A simple rhyme concerning your money may be chanted. This is an excellent way to raise your power. Chant it 3, 5, 7, or 9 times after lighting the candles. Here's an example: "Money that is needed . . . now is the time . . . be speeded . . . money that is mine . . . come . . . now is the time."

Dispense with the candles, incense and flowers after completing the spell in a body of water.
